Grilled Fish Tacos

Serves:2

Summertime is the BEST for grilling and this Grilled Fish Taco is beyond easy to make on a weeknight. Simply season, let set, grill, and top. You can make it simple with some avocado and goat cheese crumbles, or add that WOW factor and make a slaw. ( I just used the same one as I did for my Jerk Chicken Tacos, but swapped the 🥭 for 🍍!)

We have been experimenting quite a bit with grilling fish on our pellet grill. We got simple wood planks from ACE hardware and let me tell you the FISH is perfectly cooked every time. It’s flaky and full of flavor! I won’t cook fish any other way now!

Ingredients

1 pound wild-caught cod fillets

2 limes, juiced

1 tablespoon avocado oil

1 tablespoon paprika

½ teaspoon chili powder

2 cloves garlic, minced

Cayenne pepper to liking (about ⅛-½ teaspoon)

Dash of sea salt and pepper

Optional Toppings:

Avocado Slices

Goat cheese crumbles

Pineapple or Mango Slaw

Method

Cover your wild caught COD fillets with spices, lime juice, and oil. Allow the fish to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Grill at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the fish is flakey. The cooking time will depend on your grill’s heat as well as how thick each fillet is.

Serve up with your favorite toppings.
